Nidingen

Nidingen (57.3033°N x 11.9018°W) is a small solitary island. It is situated 10 km SSW of the Onsala just outside Kungsbacka town, about 25 km S of Gothenburg on the Swedish West coast.

On the island there is a permanent Birdstation/Ringing station. The islands has three ligthhouses where two of them are breeding spots for kittiwakes.

At the islands there is lots of Lesser Black-backed Gulls ssp intermedius 600 pairs as the most common breeder but aslo Herring gull 50 pairs and Kittiwakes 60 pairs (Swedens only ones).
