Data request form

Data requests are an important tool in SEATRACK to keep an overview and coordinate ongoing and future work.

Important Notes:

Before submitting a data request, please review the available data and ongoing projects. These can be found on the Data page. Data requests can only include data currently available (and not data that will be collected, analysed, or processed). Provide sufficient details in your data request to aid understanding of your study proposal by all partners and data owners involved, and to facilitate data extraction (otherwise delays might ensue).

Once a data request has been submitted, the SEATRACK project group will evaluate it and provide feedback and comments. After that it will be forwarded to relevant partners and data owners who have the possibility to ask questions or give comments regarding the initiative.

The processing time of a data request is approximately 8 weeks.

SEATRACK advocates that everyone that contributed substantially to one or more of the following criteria: 1) Conception and design, 2) Data acquisition; 3) Data analysis, and 4) Interpretation of data, should be offered co-authorship. This in turn requires all co-authors to a) Draft or revise the article critically for important intellectual content, b) Approve the final version to be published, and c) Be accountable for the work.
